June 18th

The Equity Education Association collaborated with UC Berkeley's Spring Foundation and the Bloom Foundation to initiate a self-directed summer program at Yulong Tian Jia Bing Ethnic Middle School that is focused on sustainability and promoting more profound cultural exchange. The Summer Program raised 85,000 HKD and taught a week-long course on Sustainable Development and Critical Thinking to 231 seventh-grade minority students.

June 23rd

Our efforts and the impact of the Equity Education Association's 2024 Summer Program have been recognized, with coverage published online in Ta Kung Pao.

Awarded The ISF Impact: Community Service Awards (Diploma Years) 2023/24: Liu Yifan and Ji Sze Nga.

June 3rd

Donation amount 13,200.00 RMB to support the purchase of switch board for Yulong Tian Jia bing Ethnic Middle School.

JAM Day

The Equity Education Association successfully organized a “Spin the Wheel” activity, raising over 10,000 HKD for our sustainable development summer program.

In June 2023, we will integrate sustainability and critical thinking elements into our curriculum design, while ensuring students' learning and cultivating their global perspective, humanistic care, and thinking abilities. The 2024 summer camp brought this curriculum system to 231 students in Yunnan.

March 13th

Rebooked book drive

In collaboration with Rebooked, we aimed to provide underprivileged children with the opportunity to learn through second-hand book donations collected during our book drive.

The 'Rebooked' book donation campaign has raised a total of 237 books.

Fundraising Activity - Earth House Week

We hosted a lucky candy-bag fundraiser for the "Changing Young Lives Foundation" in Hong Kong and organized a 5-Minute Education Video activity for all secondary students. We are proud to have raised over 23,000 HKD.

JAM DAY

We raised over 5,000 HKD in a single day with our "Spin the Wheel" fundraiser. These funds will directly support Changing Young Lives Hong Kong, transforming the lives of local youth.

May

Starting from May 2022, based on Bloom's Taxonomy and domestic textbook teaching content, a set of guiding curriculum designs has been designed for primary to secondary school students to cultivate their love for learning while ensuring the education of hard knowledge points.

MATH TUTORING PROGRAM

Offering 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 Math lessons for underprivileged middle school students in Liangshan Yi Prefecture.

Job handover

“Liu Yifan (Frank) 刘逸凡” and “Ji Sze Nga (Queena) 纪斯雅” took over as President and Vice President respectively, following their election by the members.
